How the Verification Process Works
Software-assisted screening informs a human review using available authority, insurance, safety, identity, commercial-risk, and Platform information. Target review time may vary.
Lookup of FMCSA records: authority status, safety rating, and operating history.
Review of the insurance details you provide (provider, policy, expiration date, coverage). Brokers must also keep active FMCSA property-broker authority and the federally required $75,000 BMC-84 surety bond or BMC-85 trust.
EIN format check and business-name match against FMCSA records. IRS TIN Matching is used only if Tardigrade Freight Exchange LLC qualifies as a payer for information-return purposes.
On-time delivery rate and cancellation score from platform transaction history.
Points, tiers, and priority windows
Earn 100 points per completed load, +50 for on-time delivery. When a shipper opens a priority window, the bidding broker with the most points gets the first one-hour chance to accept the load.
